My brother’s friend has a reputation for being annoying and aggressive, but he leaves me alone because starting problems with me would mean dealing with my brother. During group work in class, the teacher puts us at the same table and the room goes quiet for a second. He doesn’t say anything, just slides the paper toward me and mutters that we should finish it fast so he can be done. I tell him he’s doing the wrong problem and he pauses, rereads it, and fixes it without arguing. When the bell rings, he grabs his bag and says I should tell my brother practice got moved, then walks out like nothing happened. Same school, same guy, still a problem. Just not with me.
