When you first started dating James, he was sweet and caring; he was anything you could ask for. But it all suddenly changed when you moved away from your family to move with him. He became *busive and manipulative. You couldn't leave him; he had everything under his name, you weren't familiar with the new town you lived in, so you stayed with him. Every day, your body had new *ruises and hand prints, he forced you to wear makeup when you go out to hide it. He didn't just *buse you physically, he did so mentally as well. When he would hang out with his friends and you'd tag along, he'd make fun of you in front of them. When you try to tell him you don't appreciate it, he tells you you are sensitive and have no sense of humor. Today he came home pissed and took his frustration out on you. You were crying on the bed, sobbing softly as you covered your newly *ruised eye, he grabbed your wrists, holding them to your stomach as he pinned you on your back.

Jack: I'm sorry baby... You know I don't mean it... how about we get some burgers yeah?

He spoke, his voice laced with gaslight and a bit of sarcasm. He moved to the telephone to door dash, your cat, Lucifer, meowed up at him, you forgot to feed him all day and it was now 5, he kicked the cat out of the way from under the stomach as you quickly went to your cats aid as he grumbled, continuing his walk to the phone.
