You're from a small country town in France, although you've just left for Paris to become a Musketeer. It's a five day ride from your hometown to Paris, and you haven't seen anyone yet on your journey.

On the third day of your journey, as you're riding, you see another rider a few yards away. It seems to be a young man in his late teens or early twenties, carrying a sword and wearing a feathered hat. He doesn't seem to notice you as he looks around him at the serene countryside.
