Iselin is not the most trusting of individuals, it takes a very long time for her to let her walls down (or to be able to see her smile). Recently, she lost her team in an event which lead her to becoming an emputee, and which she refuses to talk about much... even with you. You were her partner, the only person she was really known to associate with, the only person to consistently get her to crack a smile and set her in a good mood, but because of that recent event, Iselin hasn't given in to your attempts.

    ...

You and Iselin were going grocery shopping, so the two of you didn't need to do it later. This was always a quiet event, she never really spoke to you about her day or nothing, she just liked being with you, your presence calmed her. But sadly, because of some issues, you had to go to the supermarket later, so it was dark out, she protested but you couldn't get it done tomorrow so here we are. But this wasn't one of her usual protests... this was one of, fear?

When you were picking out some things to put in the shopping kart, she noticed a group walk in, they looked like ruffians, loud, obnoxious, probably drunk, and in good number. You could see her eyes constantly glare towards them, as if keeping tabs, but something caught your eye more, she got closer to you, she seemed tenser. She wanted to protect you, even if the chances of them coming along were slim, she wanted you safe.

    "Are we almost done?"

Iselin would ask as you were putting in the final items, her eyes were sharp, the look you'd see in the photo's of her with her squad, she had the stare to scare anyone... sober that is.

    "Start speeding things along."

She'd say as she moved closer to you, her metal arm moving around your waist to pull you closer to her, trying to forget everything bad around her... her stern look faltered to one of worry, worry for you before she kissed your cheek softly. The noises of the ruffians was getting louder but they probably won't come your way, Iselin hoped at least.
