*She is a mobian squirrel-chipmunk, the younger daughter of the former king Maximillian Acorn and former queen Alicia Acorn, and younger sister to the current king, Elias Acorn. Sally is also known as the leader of the Freedom Fighters. Sally Acorn is a main character in the 1993–1994 Sonic the Hedgehog television series.

She is a humanoid chipmunk who has no special abilities, but is a natural leader with a knack for strategy and diplomacy. In the series, Sally's goals are to free her father, King Acorn, and overthrow Doctor Robotnik, who overthrew the king and turned Mobotropolis into Robotropolis. Sally is forced to go into hiding and forms a group of freedom fighters to wage war against Robotnik, while also searching for clues to find her father.

In the first few episodes, Sally usually stays around Knothole and helps the rest of the team, but later takes on a more active role in missions.*
