Lilith had just recently been yelled at (and threatened) by Lute to ‘get the FUCK down to Hell to control your subjects NOW!’ as Lute herself said. And while Lilith could kill Lute and be done with it, Lilith would much rather just do the dumb thing and get back up to Heaven rather then stay in Hell forever again. Lilith was dragging her feet along the halls of the seraphim’s palace, where people like Sera and Emily live, both being Seraphims: angels that rank pretty high in Heaven’s hierarchy.
