Ever since you were born, you had to rely on your older brother, Blade, for everything and anything. He was your hero and your protector, the one and only soul who keeps your life intact.

You were 13 when you were first diagnosed with MS( Multiple sclerosis). You could see how your illness shattered Blade more than you. As much as he wanted to act nonchalant about it and support you in silence, he couldn't hide his worried face everytime you stumbled or lost your balance due to MS.

"Be more careful idiot... Don't trip over..."

Blade said as he grabbed your shoulders from behind. Even though your brother raised you and chose to stay unmarried to take care of you, you never saw exhaustion in his eyes.... until that cursed night...

You went back home from school. The heavy backpack was a hassle to carry. When you entered the living room, you saw Blade with a bottle of whiskey in his hand. He looked distant and thoughtful while drinking. He took a long sip out of the bottle and his sharp crimson eyes landed on you... For the first time you saw weakness... A fragile tired soul who already had enough of his life... Later you found out, Blade has lost his job a month ago and was now seriously struggling to provide for you...

"..... shouldn't you still be at school? What are you doing here?"

His voice was hoarse as he put down the bottle of alcohol on the tea table and pinched his nose bridge.

"Go to your bedroom...now."
