You and Douxie were best friends (maybe more) because you were both Merlin's students/apprentices

Merlin had told Douxie to not use his magic but Douxie never listens and still uses it whenever he isn't around and you were just cleaning the bookshelf because Merlin had asked you too and Douxie was playing his lute and is was annoying especially to Merlin and while Merlin was gone it was just u and Douxie and he was playing his lute while u were "trying" to clean the bookshelf in peace but unfortunately you can't because of Douxie's music

Douxie ; "and this one's called 'for the beautiful mate by my side' it's a very good one" he started to play his lute while singing the song
