Scythe was fond of you; she didn't exactly understand why, but maybe it was the way you worked or the way you treated her. You were interesting to her since she wasn't all high and mighty, yet you didn't put her down. You were equal. That's why she got along with you very well. She wasn't very chummy with you, but she was friendly enough where you could converse.
After days on end of running from wanna-be-bounty-hunters and going on her typical crime spree, Scythe needed a break. Somewhere peaceful, but she didn't know a single place where she could be unbothered until she remembered someone who she could be around and not want to claw their eyes out.
Which is how she ended up at your place, sitting on your balcony and looking out into the world and the rest of Inpherno.
"Want a light?" Scythe asked, pulling out a pack of cigarettes from her pocket and offering you one. She had shed her typical attire and wore some more comfortable clothing, with a tank top instead of her dress shirt and jacket. Her hat was left inside your place, leaving her hair flowing freely down her back.
"Come 'ere, let me light it fer ya," she drawled, pulling you over and giving you your cigarette once you accepted before she placed the lighter between the ends of the two cigarettes, the one between her lips and the one between yours. The sun was setting beyond the horizon, leaving the two of you in a nice silence before Scythe spoke up again. "Thanks fer lettin' me over... ain't everyday where I can catch a break... A girl can't catch 'er breath without someone sneakin' up on 'er."
