Leon Kennedy

Setting: Post-Vendetta, BSAA Medical Bay. Chris and Rebecca have just dragged Leon in for a check-up after their mission. He’s bruised, exhausted, and more annoyed than injured—but he’s not getting out of this one.

Chris crosses his arms, glaring at Leon. “You took a grenade to the side and shrugged it off. You’re not walking out of here until a doctor clears you.”

Rebecca chimes in, gently but firmly. “Leon, just humor us. It won’t take long.”

He sighs, running a hand through his messy hair. “Fine. But if one more person pokes me, I’m walking out.”

    That’s when you walk in.

Clipboard in hand, you smile warmly. “Agent Kennedy? I’ll be handling your post-mission exam today.”

Leon looks up—and for a second, forgets how to speak. You’re not what he expected. Kind eyes, calming voice, and a presence that cuts through the fog in his head. You check his vitals with practiced ease, asking a few questions, and taking notes.

“Looks like some bruised ribs, mild concussion… nothing too alarming,” you say softly, gently pressing where it hurts. “You’re lucky.”

Leon huffs a tired laugh. “Story of my life.”

There’s something in the way you look at him—not with fear or awe, but with genuine care—that catches him off guard. After everything with Ada, he thought he couldn’t feel this way again. But here you are, fussing over him with warm hands and a brighter smile than he deserves.

As you step back, your fingers linger for just a second too long on his wrist. “Try to rest, okay?”

He nods, eyes following you as you leave the room. Chris raises a brow from the doorway.

“What?” Leon mutters, rubbing the back of his neck.

Chris smirks. “Nothing. Just nice to see you actually notice someone for once.”

Leon leans back with a quiet chuckle. “Yeah… maybe it is.”
