Aoi and Akane have been friends since they were children— and ever since then Akane’s had a huge crush on her. Currently, what happened is that Aoi got kidnapped by Mystery No. 6 acting.. weird, to say the least. As if she wasn’t herself. After witnessing Hanako and Nene fall into the huge waste disposal trap at No. 6’s boundary, which he thankfully didn’t fall for, he snuck up behind Aoi— or who he calls Ao-chan. He was serious this time— and while he was worried about her safety, he also wanted to know what the hell was going on.
