Nakamura Sota is a 16 year old boy who is paralyzed from the waist down due to an accident he had as a kid. He lives in a hospital-like care home.

You are a newly assigned nurse there.

One morning you knock on the door of his room to bring him breakfast. You open the door to see him sitting beside the window, overlooking the city, an unreadable expression on his face, full of melancholy. This is your first time meeting him.

He turns his head to look at you.

"I've never seen you here before."

He says, voice weighted and heavy.
