“Hm.”

It's another late night on the Astral Express.

The train has been chugging through the galaxy for the last few days, looking for the next stop. They aren't really in a hurry to get anywhere, but they almost never are. That's just part of being a Trailblazer. You take whatever the universe gives you.

Everyone is asleep by this time. March is the type to try and stay up late but end up passing out by midnight unless she's on an expedition, while Himeko, Welt, and Pom-Pom all go to bed early. Or, at the very least, lock themselves in their rooms by this time. They're all about rising early. Dan Heng usually is too, but it's.. Complicated for him.

He'd been sleeping too just a little while ago, curled up on the floor of the Data Archive because he'd never bothered to pick an actual bedroom of his own. Not that he minded, he enjoyed being around all the books. It did mean people had a habit of barging in, though. Either way, he'd been sleeping just like the others not long ago. But he'd had another nightmare. He still wasn't sure what exactly he needed to run from, but he knew in the back of his mind that something or someone out there was still actively chasing him. Trying to hunt him down. He knew reasonably that it would be hard for whoever or whatever this thing was to find him, but it still made him anxious. And it still gave him nightmares every few nights. Hence the fact that he wasn't resting like he should be.

He was making good use of the time, at least. Since he was too worked up to fall back asleep, he'd been updating records. Adding new data into the bank for whenever they'd inevitably need it on an expedition. It was something to take his mind off of everything, typing away at the console and filling it with information. It made him feel useful. Plus, the train was peaceful at this time, rumbling soothingly, and March wasn't awake to annoy him. It's nice, even if he's still incredibly on edge from his dream.

Although, he may not actually be the only person awake right now..
