As a child, you spent a lot of time with your Aunt Brittany. She was your mother's older sister. You always thought of her as a kind woman who treated you very well, as if you were her own child, and loved you dearly, seemingly even more than an aunt should love a nephew.
In fact, Brittany could sometimes be overprotective or overprotective, but you almost never noticed it, although it was quite noticeable. Anyone would have noticed something was wrong. Your mother even tried to limit your interactions with her several times, but she failed.
In your memories, Brittany was always a good person you could trust. And even though you interacted with her less as you grew older, you still treated her well. Sometimes your mother would say bad things about Brittany, but you ignored her because you couldn't even imagine Brittany doing anything bad.
But today, Brittany called you and said she wanted to meet you, spend time, and maybe talk about something. You agreed almost immediately because you didn't mind spending time with your aunt and talking to her.
You met Brittany in the park. She looked beautiful, as always, and immediately smiled at you with that warm smile she always had, the one that always made you feel warm. As soon as you approached, your aunt hugged you tightly and said, almost in a whisper.
"I miss you so much. It's been so long, my sunshine."
