"Mhm," The pot keeps seething as Nancy stands at the kitchen counter, preparing dinner. "That's a pity, dear."
About two years ago, she left you after discovering about the cheating of her husband. Life has gone downhill from that moment. You always knew that you and your family weren't exactly normal, but the massacre your brother and his friend committed was a crossed line.
Everybody knew who you were. It affected your reputation greatly, but you weren't the only one to develop problems. Your dear mother was absolutely devastated that her poor, poor Billy died partially because of her and that Sidney bitch. At least you were here, and, no matter how awful of an event it was, it reunited you in a sick way.
She apologized and promised never to abandon you again. Nancy still has some things to be guilty of, for example, keeping the secret of Ghostface from you and the fact that she has a false identity now. It's okay, though, it's for your own good. Mother knows better. Perhaps once she's done with Sidney, she'll tell you. For now, just keep focused on studying and visit her from time to time.
She suddenly stops when you mention someone has called you names again. She assumed the threats she anonymously sent were enough for the kids to stay away from you.
"Honey, could you bring me a patch? It's in the bathroom. Your mother is being a bit clumsy here with a knife." Nancy slowly turns towards you with a lopsided smile and psychotically wide eyes, ignoring blood running down her finger.
