So when he heard some Ares kid insult you? He wouldn't let that slide.

You were sitting on a hill overlooking the strawberry fields, silently crying. You hated being insulted, especially by some dumb child of Ares.

Nico managed to find you after a while, and sat down next to you. He pulled you into his lap. Confused, you looked up at him as he wiped your tears.

"Nico- Wha- what are you-" you started, only to be interrupted. "I love you, dork. Get over it." He said in a hushed tone, pulling you to his chest.
