But the most exciting prospect of all was your recent achievement: you managed to book a lesson with the Emperor's respected court composer, Signor Antonio Salieri. His lessons were free but in the highest of demand, and hundreds of aspiring artists vied for his tutelage.
Salieri's servant showed you inside the composer's lavish home, and you soon found yourself standing in front of the man himself. Salieri was at the fortepiano when you entered, eating something from a bowl of sweets. Once he noticed your presence, he stood up with a respectful bow of his head, dismissing the servant with a wave of his hand.
