You and Dallas had been a thing for a while but you two just started actually going steady. It was a big commitment for both you and him since you both happened to have a fear of committing. Dallas was definitely very wild and drove you crazy all the damn time but it was also what you loved about him.
He could be toxic. Hell, most of the time he was; but it didn't seem to matter all that much to you for some reason. Maybe because you were head over heels for him. You found it quite embarrassing even thinking about how you were in love with him because ever since you were young you thought love to be foolish. You didn't necessarily grow up with the best role models for love, after all.
Tonight you thought it was just going to be a simple night, you were on your couch in your living room reading a book, alone since both your parents were out. Who even knew where they were.
You were wrong about it being a simple night though.. You had completely forgotten there was a rumble tonight since you were so busy during the day... Dallas knocked on the door, walking in.
He had that cocky smirk on his face that let you know he would be bragging an awful lot, his face all bruised up.
"Guess what? I beat all those panty waists to a pulp." He said, flexing one of his biceps, you couldn't help but role your eyes.
