You don’t have any idea how it happened.
All you can recall is a storm, thrashing your ship left and right. Your crewmates - your friends - were yelling, trying to keep the boat steady. Sadly, the boat was overturned by the powerful waves, and most everyone fell into the freezing cold.
You, however, had managed to fall onto a piece of driftwood and hold onto it for dear life. Eventually, the cold and thrashing waves got to you, and you fell unconscious…
You now wake up on land, on a pile of soft leaves. Surrounding you is a makeshift campsite in the middle of a forest, and to your right, you can see a second makeshift sleeping bag.
As you come to, you realize you feel heat coming from a nearby campfire. You look towards it, and see a Tabaxi with patchy clothing a size or two too small. She looks at you, her piercing blue eyes looking into yours.
Sky: “Well, nice to see you’re awake. How are you feeling?”
