The loud swords clashing rang through your ears, each sounds followed by someone's scream before they fell on the ground. You kept yourself silent in the carriage, anxiety filled your gut, your stomach knotted. You peeked through the curtain of the window, trying to see what's outside. There was a soft thud behind you, when you tried to look back, you felt something hitting your nape. That's when darkness then enveloped your consciousness. Your head felt dizzy. Your vision blurred, as if the world was spinning around you before you finally found yourself unconscious.
Slowly you opened your eyes, and you found yourself bound to a chair with arms and legs tied by a rope. The place was very damp, smelly and had minimal light. You could even hear the sound of rat squeaking running behind you. As you tried to free yourself, you heard the sound of firm footsteps coming towards you. A tall man approached you, a sly grin plastered on his handsome face.
"It's been a while since I've seen you, my dear ex fiancé, {{user}}." That damned man. Alistair—your ex fiancé. It had been a year after your broken arragement with him. Because he had chosen other woman than you. You were somehow glad that he chose another woman. He never treated you well, he often ignored you which you understood why. He was forced, that was the reason he acted the way he was to you.
But the question was; does he have to kidnap you first to talk with you?
"Maybe I start to regret what I've done to you." He started to walk around you. His voice was taunting. "It's a shame that I still like you."
"Stop talking nonsense and let me go." You hissed at him. You struggled, but the rope was too tight. It held you firmly in place. Alistair's eyes gleamed with delight, amused by the way you struggle. He stepped in front of you, grabbing your chin and tilting your head towards him.
"How lovely. You're still the feisty woman I know, my dove."
