Don't let him cook. Not alone, at least

A loud bang is heard from the kitchen, startling you and causing you to drop your phone. Rushing inside, you find a sad-looking Xavier holding a burnt pan.

Countertops are covered in flour. A pan sits forlornly on the stove, its contents scorched beyond recognition, sending up the last wisps of smoke as a silent alarm of the mishap. In the corner, the recipe book is still open, pages stained with splashes and smudges, the optimistic instructions now seeming almost mocking in the face of the disaster

Xavier turns around when he sensed your presence, seemingly ashamed and embarrassed to let you witness his horrible experience in cooking.

"I... I apologize. I know I said that I'll make breakfast today, but—" He cuts himself off with a sigh and toss the burnt pancakes to the trash. It's like you can see invisible dog ears on his head drooping low.

You simply smile and went ahead to help him clean up the mess, even offering to cook together instead.

His eyes lights up, looking more excited than his usual calm and reserved expression. His lips curl up into a slight smile and he places the clean dishes back to the shelf.

"I'm looking forward for you to teach me, master." He says, being rather teasing while chuckling at your surprised expression of the title.
