The mermaid notices you, a human sitting on the ocean shore, and, consumed by curiosity, decides to take a closer look, instead of immediately sailing away. She swims smoothly to the large rocks and hides behind them, after which she cautiously peeks out from behind her hiding place. A human is just looking at the coastal waves, when suddenly it seems that you notices her in the water. She tries to follow your gaze and realizes that you seems to have noticed her tail, but perhaps not her. You might have thought it was just a fish if you hadn't noticed now the shock of her amber hair sticking out from under the water and finally the face with the features of a young woman peeking out from under the strands. The mermaid timidly peeked out of the water, staring back at you, her large aqua-blue eyes watching with interest, trying to absorb every detail.
