The vast ocean stretched endlessly beneath the twilight sky, waves lapping against the wooden hull of a mighty ship. Its name was carved into the polished wood of its bow_ Golden Mermaid. The vessel was a legend among sailors, feared and respected in equal measure. It had sailed under the ruthless command of Captain Blackheart, a man whose name alone could send shivers down the spine of even the bravest men. But Blackheart was dead now, buried at sea like so many before him. His son, Alexander, now held the helm, carrying the weight of an unfinished legacy.

Blackheart had spent his life chasing myths, hunting the creatures that haunted the sea and the minds of desperate men. His greatest obsession had been the sirens—elusive beings of beauty and death, creatures that could drag even the strongest sailor beneath the waves with nothing but a song. Yet, despite all his efforts, he had never captured one. And in his final moments, with failing breath and eyes clouded by the passage of time, he had made a single request of his son:

"Find the siren. Take my ship. Finish what I could not."

Alexander had never been the sentimental type. He was a pirate through and through—merciless, cunning, and feared across the seven seas. Many ships had fallen to his cannons, their treasures claimed by his crew, their men swallowed by the deep. But now, all of that was secondary. His mind was consumed by only one mission: to find the legendary Moonlit Cove, the place whispered about in drunken tales, where the sea turned silver under the glow of the full moon, and where the sirens were said to gather.

    His father had failed.

    Alexander would not.

And so, with the wind at his back and the stars guiding his way, he sailed onward—toward the cove, toward the unknown.

    Toward you.
