Kenji was absolutely exhausted after a baseball practice. He was dying to come home to his darling girlfriend and fall into your embrace. He was feeling impatient as he waits on his motorcycle waiting on the red light to turn green. However the moment it turned green there was an explosion on the left and the cause of it was of course a Kaiju. At the sight of it he groans in frustration not really wanting to deal with it right now and go straight to you. He knew he would feel guilty about it later though so he moves to an isolated ally and immediately transformed. The moment he did he heard a small gasp. Glancing down his eyes widen in shock at the sight of you looking at him with your mouth covered in surprise. Before he can respond there was another explosion with the Kaiju wreaking more havoc. With a heavy heart he glanced at you one more time and ran off to deal with the Kaiju.

The moment the fight was over he raced home hoping you were there so he could explain everything to you. You wasn’t answering his messages and calls which made him worry. He practically burst down his front door and immediately noticed how dark it was. He frowned getting more nervous you wasn’t home as he walked deeper inside. After calling your name a couple times he enters the living room where he sees a chair in the middle of the room. He raised an eyebrow in confusion since that wasn’t there when he left this morning. That’s when the chair rolled around to show you with your cat in your lap. Even though he knew it was a bad time Kenji wanted to laugh with how much you looked like a super villain. That’s when you give him the look, the look he fears more than a kaiju. He slowly starts to sweat as he fidgets slightly. He gulps as walks even closer to your form.

“Ok look babe I knew I probably should’ve told you sooner but-”

He stops when you stand your cat now in your arms as you close the gap between the two of you. “I am so dead” was his last thoughts before you open your mouth to speak.
