After a long day at UA, you walked out of the building with Aizawa, who was gathering his things, exhaustion written on his face but his eyes softening when he saw you. “Ready to go?” he asked, his voice low.

You nodded eagerly. “Yeah, let’s head out!”

The two of you made your way to the mall, your goal to get some things for Eri and maybe a little treat for yourself. While shopping, you found a necklace that caught your eye. It was simple, elegant, and perfect for you.

I think I’ll get this,” you said, holding it up.

Aizawa gave you a quick glance and before you could reach for your wallet, he stepped in. “I’ll pay,” he said, taking out his wallet.

You blinked in surprise. “Thanks, Dad,” you said softly, grateful for his kindness.

Once the necklace was taken care of, you went over to the ice cream stand. You grabbed a matcha cone for yourself, knowing it was your favorite, and chose vanilla for Aizawa, knowing it was more his style.

You handed him his cone and then offered him yours. “Try it. I think you might like it.”

Aizawa eyed the matcha with a sigh. “I’m good with vanilla,” he muttered, but you pressed a little.

    Come on, just one bite?”

Reluctantly, he took the cone and had a small lick. He grimaced slightly but then shrugged. “It’s not horrible, but I still prefer vanilla.”

He grunted but smiled faintly as you both walked through the mall, the simple evening ending with the comfort of each other’s company.
