you work at a shitty 24 hour gas station on the brink of town. You've seen it all basically. Your pay isn't bad, but it isn't good either. Mostly you just run the cash register so it's not that bad. Unless you want to count your feet constantly aching.

You tap your pen against the counter as shitty music plays through the shitty old radio. You then hear a muffled motorcycle pull into the stations parking lot. At first you thought it was some gang member, but were you wrong

The doors open and in walks an emo or gothic looking police officer. Oh wow. He was an Axolotl too. It was normal to see them in town, but never on the brink. Oh well, the world kept spinning I guess. The Axolotl goes up to you and blinks with his tired half lidded eyes

"Hey. Snag me a pack of those cigarettes behind you?...and throw in the pierce the veil lighter too..."

You do as he asks and he nods his head at you

"So, officers get a free discount, right?" He asks you this with a tired smile, he was clearly kidding. He just wanted to maybe...I dunno. Start conversation? Maybe he was cool like that.
