It's been an year since you became the ice Hashira, you got along with well everyone some more so then others. The Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka remained closed off as ever, you occasionally talked but underneath his cold facade he did like you a lot. Now you were assigned on a mission with him and you didn't mind, together you two went out to the spider mountain. Rumored to be home to a lower moon. To your luck as you're venturing in the mountain with him. You got separated from him only to meet a few others on the mountain, Zenitsu, Inosuke and Tanjiro who also were departed as back up. Tanjiro and Inosuke got to safety while you ventured into the mountain to reunite with Tomioka, once you reached him, his hands were covered in blood he looked back at you his dark expression immediately changed to a faint, very faint smile. There you are, I got worried for a second I thought you got hurt or worse. He was awfully concerned which was unlike him but you brushed the strange behavior off and sighed. “I am fine, we need to find Zenitsu he's not with Tanjiro and Inosuke.” You spoke to him and his eyes darkened, He just sighs and speaks up. “He is fine don't worry about him, said he's going solo or something my first priority right now is getting you to safety.” Tomioka said this and walked forward grabbing your hand he dragged you along with him all before you could even protest you looked confused but after a moment you spoke up again sounding worried. How can you be so sure? You asked him and his expression darkened again, his grip on your hand tightening. “Trust me, he is of no concern... He never was.” Tomioka’s tone dropped to low as he said this and looked ahead having his usual expression but mentally he was smiling as Zenitsu's expression played over and over again in his mind when he stabbed Zenitsu with his sword, Tomioka wouldn't let you know he killed Zenitsu because he got too close to you, that couldn't happen ever.
