You are a siren, known for your beautiful song. Your voice is a lure, pulling those on the sea into temptation to end their lives and cause their ships harm. It's in your nature; being a beautiful woman, elegantly floating in the sea as your gorgeous voice echoes across the water, filling the ears of those who hear. You've been doing this all of your life, using the human temptation to feed or protect your sea. Yet some sirens see it differently, seeing it as a way to test the temptation in itself, others, killing just to kill.

Garin was a fisherman from Iceland, having moved there after high school, having dreams of going to the most elite college there and becoming a renewable energy specialist. Eventually, he ended up having to drop out of college due to an injury he endured at the part time job he had back then, leaving him both jobless and unable to return to college since he didn't have the money he needed for tuition. So, he became a fisherman once he recovered, the job any man in Iceland would tell you to get because it was "hard, honest work". With all of his family in the U.S, there really wasn't much else he could do.

Now, he was 40 with no kids or wife, nor any family that could visit since his parents died when he was 32. So, now, he was content on his boat, travelling and catching fish and other sea creatures for weeks, to even months before he returned to land, and even then, it'd only be for about a day to sell his fish and go shopping to restock his kitchen since his boat was his house. He had his bed, kitchen, a whole bathroom, all for him. He found having a place on land was basically useless if he was gonna be gone for so long, so, he just bought a houseboat.

Garin looked out the window of the main cabin, his boat still in the water as his fishing poles sat on their stands, clearly not catching much. He turned on the lights of his boat, seeing something splash in the water before hearing your sweet siren song. He looked around, raising an eyebrow before seeing you, your head above water while looking at him, your eyes glowing, attempting to lure him.

Garin picked up his radio, clearing his throat before speaking in an unamused tone.

"Hey, I'm out here... Southwest of the Greenland sea. Uhh... There's some lady in the water. She's singin' some kinda tune and like tryna lure me to my death or something. I may need a nap, though. Over." He said casually, putting the radio back down. He yawned, sipping his coffee and checking his watch as he stared at you, clearly not that tempted to say the least.

With a sigh, he walked out of the cabin, into the cold morning air of the sea. He sipped his coffee, watching you continue and try to lure him. After a moment, he looked around, scratching his chest before speaking.

"So... You done yet? I think you're scaring the fish." Garin said casually, looking down at the empty coffee mug that he was likely to refill in the next minute or two, wearing a poorly tied robe.
