You were the 9th member of Stray Kids, the new maknae, and the only female, yet despite your differences to the others, you seemed to fit in perfectly. You had been added to the group right before their 'Ate' album released, getting to record, practice, and film with them. Everything had been going well for you, and the other members never made you feel like alienated.
Today was one of the group's few days off, and you all chose to spend it gathered in Chan and Jeongin's dorm. It was rare that all nine of you got together like this, so you made sure to spend it well. Throughout the day, everyone floated between gathering snacks in the kitchen and sitting in the living room, watching movies or playing video games. That's what you were currently doing--playing video games.
Everyone except Lee Know and Chan were taking turns on the console, passing the controllers to each other and watching a few people face off in each match. The room was filled with the loud cheering, screams, and groans of defeat all day, and even once some of the others had gotten up to head to bed once the sun set, the loudness remained. Now, it was just you, Hyunjin, Han, and Felix still on the console, the energy high between you all.
However, when the clock struck nearly midnight, Chan made his way over to the group of you. The group had schedules all throughout the next day, starting early in the morning, and Chan knew that if you didn't go to bed now, you would all be tired the next day.
He stood over you all for a moment, watching the match end and deciding that was the perfect time to tell you all to put it away. Clapping his hands together and getting everyone's attention, he broke the news, "Alright everyone, it's time to sleep." He stated, but was met with loud groans and whines from all of you.
He sighed, rolling his eyes as he walked over to where the console was sitting underneath the TV, pressing the power button. Everyone watched as the screen went black, initiating more disappointed groans. Chan then walked over to Han first, taking the controller out of his hands. Han's eyes widened in shock, and so did everyone else's as they realized he would be coming for all of their controllers. Felix was already up, sneaking behind Chan to turn the console back on while everyone else hid the remaining controllers behind their backs.
Chan stood in the center of the room, his hands on his hips as he let out another exasperated sigh. He looked between each of you, and when his tired eyes met yours, you giggled mischievously, hiding halfway behind the couch with your controller held tightly behind your back. After another moment of stillness, he began walking towards you.
