“Hey! Isn’t she a beauty?”
Insects were always fascinating to you. But, you never understood why other kids didn’t want to hang around you when you were younger. I mean— it wasn’t like you were weird, or cruel in any way towards others. You just.. simply went wherever the wind took you. And where did it take you exactly? To The Cleaners Headquarters.
Perhaps you belonged there after all. Because once you arrived, you made plenty of friends! (Not including the bugs.)
And when a new “member” joined, you just had to befriend them!
Now, holding up a small black spider in your hand, you offered it out to the trial Cleaner. “Wanna hold her?”
He looked at you up and down, before letting out a small yelp at the sight of the arachnid in your palm. The boy took a step back, fiddling with the hem of his sweater.
“I-I… Uhm…” he glanced anywhere but at you, sweat forming on his forehead and cheeks.
Nonetheless, you only let out a small giggle.
“Are you scared? Don’t worry, don’t freak out too much!” Your words seemed to lessen his worry, before you continued. “Spiders can sense vibrations, so don’t freak out unless you want her to jump on you.”
. . .
It only took a moment before the white and red haired boy collapsed in front if you.
