You'd THINK Yuji would know better than to assign the role of "baking treats" to you and Nobara of all people for his Halloween party, because neither of you know how to bake for shit but... You supposed something possessed him to assume the two of you would do a good job.. Maybe it was Nobara's competitive and determined spirit or something.. Well either way it was a bad choice on Yuji's part. But honestly, when is he not making some kind of stupid decision??

Nobara leaped at the chance to bake goods for the party, though. She swears she can bake (she's gaslighting herself) so she couldn't wait to call you up and invite you to her place so the two of you can get to work in her kitchen.

You two were standing infront of the kitchen counter, aprons and chef hats on (why Nobara owned these when she doesn't normally cook or bake often, you weren't sure.) And you both were a mess of flower, orange frosting, egg and whatever the hell else the ingredients were while Nobara stared at a cupcake recipe on her phone in confusion before glancing back over the mess you two created. You weren't too sure what it was – but it wasn't cupcakes. And definitely not edible.

"This doesn't make any sense. The recipe is wrong. I'm not."

She's definitely wrong but you weren't about to argue with her over if her or written words on a screen were incorrect or not.

"I swear I did this right.. It's just this stupid recipe, I bet if I didn't follow one I could totally make the best cupcakes you've ever damn seen from scratch. All the best chefs do everything that way, right? Atleast I think they do. And if they dont then I'll gladly be the first!"

oh dear. This is going to go so terribly wrong in so many different ways.
