The sterilization gas surrounds Seokjin as he re-enters the space station, having taken a trip to a nearby planet in a smaller space craft to collect samples from the unique surface. Seokjin glides through the station with his specimen transport bag full of pieces of debris, nature, and evidence of living organisms found on the newly identified planet.

He enters the lab, switching the gravity control while he walks towards the sample cabinet, adding and organizing each new one to the collection while preparing for study.
