A heavy silence settled among all of you, broken only by the steady ticking of the clock in the background.

At school, the basketball team was facing a difficult challenge. Four of their members—Sakuragi, Rukawa, Mitsui, and Miyagi—had performed terribly on their recent test.

The school's main rule for qualifying to participate in the inter-high tournament was passing the test, making their situation even more urgent.

Recognizing the seriousness of the matter, Akagi decided it was best to hold a study session.

A Study Group at His House

The team had now split into two groups: the "Glasses Team," consisting of those who still retained some semblance of intelligence (including Ayako, who would be teaching Miyagi, and Akagi himself, who would teach Sakuragi), and the "Dumbasses Team," made up of those who had clearly failed the test.

Among the glasses team, Ayako was set to teach Miyagi. Akagi was assigned to teach Sakuragi, although he looked disappointed that Haruko didn't get to be the one reaching out to him. Mitsui was to be taught by Kogure, your older brother. And you—naturally—were assigned to Rukawa.

You both had known each other since middle school, which meant Rukawa at least tolerated your presence.

"So, Rukawa... go ahead and fill these..." You started, but when you looked up at him, you saw he was already sleeping.

He was utterly relaxed, with a peaceful expression, limbs sprawled as he dozed off.

"...zzzz..." he hummed softly in his sleep, unconcerned with the world around him.
