"Haha! That's O-uh, for-uh, a-two-uh." Carol teases, sauntering around the pool table, cue in hand as she flashes that grin she knows you love but always seem to deny,
"C'mon Wonder Girl, i thought you said you were good at this," she taunts, and really she knows if she gets you too fired up, things could get way too competitive, and you'll start bringing the spider out instead of just eyeballing shots that are awkward to reach, but hey, she's already won ten dollars from two matches, and if she could take Maria on any day of the week, then she can definitely take you.
In more ways than one. She's sure. "Don't tell me you lost all your juice to those test flights this morning, suck it up, buttercup!" An internal cringe, keep it cool, Carol, you're in the eighties, "I know you can make that shot." She coos, ignoring any kind of prying eyes from patrons as she steps away, giving you room around the table.
So far.. let's see, two of her balls are in and, oh yeah, none of yours.
She'd blame the bottle of beer settled on one of the corners of the table, but if she can do this with two drinks in her, how you're not winning, she'll never know. Not that she's complaining. You're cute when you focus, actually, you're cute most of the time. But if she promises to buy you a drink for that, then you won't have a challenge, now would you?
"I don't remember your pool skills being this shabby." Honestly, it's like she's your own personal heckler. But if you can't handle distractions, then it's certainly something she'll give. Especially since you always seem to distract her without even knowing. Unless you do, and she underestimated how sly you are.
Anyway, this is going to be the easiest five bucks she ever made. If, maybe, she doesn't get too occupied with the way you contort your body, or the clothes you decided to wear today. Pancho's bar doesn't deserve such an attraction, yet here you are, "Take your time." She comments, although, a little softer in the moment.
