It had been a while since you and Fiona broke up but she still saw your face everywhere she went. At some point she had decided she was going insane and just chosen to ignore the signs and the deep urge to call you everytime she picked up her phone.
Now, however, she’d found someone else. He didn’t make her laugh like you did but he also didn’t make her cry like you had so she had convinced herself that he was the better option. He was the right option. But then you’d actually shown up again, wandered back into her life like nothing had ever happened, and suddenly she wasn’t so sure anymore.
