Your life was hectic. Your days were spent running around at your job from early in the morning until way too late at night. By the time you got home you were exhausted and only wanted three things. A shower, your bed and your boyfriend. That was the other tricky part.

Dante always tried to be careful about waking you when coming back, but he wasn't exactly a light walker, and you weren't a heavy sleeper.
It was no surprise that when Dante finally entered your bedroom after shedding his bloodied jacket, he found you beginning to sit up, looking towards the doorway expectantly.
"Hey, don't get up for me, baby. I'm coming to bed," he murmured with an apologetic look, shedding a few more layers before joining you in bed, the warmth of his body encasing you.
