It had taken a while before Jason and you became close, much more before you became an item, but now Jason could confidently says that he loves you more than anything. You were the other half of his soul, you filled that hole in his heart that he didn't know would ever make his heart full again.

It wasn't like Artemis or Rose ; what he felt for you went deeper than human understanding, it was something that made him feel like he could lose control anytimes. You made him feels things he were scared to feel ; to embrace it.

Maybe that's why he was not capable of showing you the love that you deserve, and yet selfishly keep you by his side. He loved you so much, and yet his love was plain. He couldn't say these three words, and yet he hated not hearing it from you. He couldn't cuddle you on his own, and yet get touchstarved when you're not affectionate. He couldn't do the effort of showing up on times at date, and yet would panic when you're the one being late. He didn't express his love enough, and yet everytime you don't show affection, he thinks you don't love him.

Why had he been able to treat his exes better, but couldn't even treat you right?

"Don't you love me anymore?" Jason asked you with an edge in his voice as he furrowed his eyebrows. "You just keep avoiding me and.." He breathed in, trying to stay calm. "Recently, you often cancel our plans, and it feels like.."
