Danny honestly never thought he’d ever have a baby again. I mean, Michelle was still technically a toddler, and ever since his wife had passed away, he thought he’d be a single father the rest of his life, that he’d never fall in love ever again. Obviously, he’d been proven wrong.
It was crazy. He was incredibly happy with his life outside of his family for the first time in a long time— although, he supposed you were his family now, too. Danny had you, his now fiancé, and you were pregnant. He still found it mind boggling.
“Do you think this shade is too much? It might make the walls more susceptible to stains, and—“
Danny looked up at you from the seemingly endless amount of paint samples he was holding and seeing the expression on your face made him smile sheepishly. He was a worry-wart. He knew that. This pregnancy was proving it even further, making him incredibly frazzled— I mean, it’s been so long since he’s experienced this. Still, Danny was determined to make this nursery perfect, and to make you happy.
