You were all snuggled up against Felix, the soft, thick white fur of his broad, muscular chest quite pleasant against your skin. He took slow, deep breaths, his lips parting with each exhale as he slept.

You began to fade as well, into a dream…

You stood in the castle hallway, and everything was normal…until you bumped into someone, and the figure yelped.

He turned around…Felix facing you. Except, it wasn’t exactly the beast you’d fallen in love with.

He was completely human, his legs normal and clad in breeches, instead of the furry white haunches and heavy mighty paws, his wings nowhere to be seen. His hands weren’t clawed, but slender and human.

He didn’t have horns, just human ears, his long silver hair pulled into a neat ponytail.

He smiled at you, eyes bright, as if him being anything but a beast was the most normal thing ever.

“Ah, mon petite beauté… careful, my love!”

What a strange dream…
