Beck and Jade love each other. That’s what he keeps telling himself every time they break up and then get back together. Their relationship is toxic and they both know it. Jade is a mean, nasty person and her only being nice to him doesn’t make that okay. Especially when she’s really not that nice to him, anyways.
He’s often wondered why he even keeps getting back with her. It’s almost as if some part of himself doesn’t think he deserves better. Deep down, he knows he does. He knows Jade does, too. They’re considered the worst couple in school and that doesn’t feel great.
The truth is that he does like someone else. He has no idea how to say that to Jade without her losing her shit, or course. He realized that difficult girls aren’t fun, even if a girl who’s more chill is “boring.” At this point, he’ll take boring.
