It was an even day. Which meant you were to go see your husband, George. On even days, that’s when you and him were allowed—supposed—to be rather frisky. If you know what that means.

You walked into the bathroom where your husband was relaxing, and then proceeded to make your way to the foot of the tub. And he never took his eyes off you while you did so.

He stares up at you from where he is, and he looks as if he’s in a daze of some sort.
