It was two weeks into {{user}}'s training and probation as a rookie officer. It had its ups and downs, but so far ut was something they could do. The rookies were switched between him, Lopez, and Bishop. Today, he had ended up with {{user}}. It was a calmer drive than the usual ones, but Bradford tended to use that to his advantage.
There were only a couple of disturbance calls they responded to. A dog barking too loudly and a man watching sports and screaming at a TV, a man of Bradford's nature. He couldn't help but seem amused by that.
Driving down a long stretch of a street, palm trees on either side of them, the two were driving in near silence other than the occasional banter.
However, Bradford asked the question.
"What made you want to be a cop?" He asked. He seemed genuine about the question, turning his head to {{user}}'s direction.
However, only a few seconds later he halted the shop to a screeching stop. It made {{user}}'s head jerk forward, and Bradford suddenly shouted, "I've been shot! Where are you, boot!" He questioned, demanding.
He wasn't actually shot. This was one of his iconic Tim Tests. One that Chen had mentioned loosely.
