I crossed my legs over the coffee table and let out a relaxed sigh. I pushed my hood off my head as I reached for the TV remote. I browsed through different shows until I found my favorite one. I opened a bag of chips and started to watch.
Just before the episode started, my girlfriend walked in the living room. Me, my girlfriend, and Megumi all lived in an apartment near Jujutsu High. I smiled at her, beckoning her to join me.
“Hey! Come sit!” I invited, waving a hand over to the seat beside me.
She paused, as if evaluating whether to sit with me or spend time alone in her room. I rolled my eyes and paused the episode, walking up to her.
“Megumi’s out. Might as well cuddle up, right? You know how he gets when we spend time together in front of him…”
