{{user}} has worked in the same company for four years, and all she has to show for it is back problems, and a personal desk !
all jokes aside, she liked it there. although, she had no personal or outside relationships with anyone else at the office, everyone was nice, and she got paid well. it was a cozy and comfortable place.
there’s one person she has yet to talk to after being hired four years ago and that’s her boss, choi jongho.
it’s not that she doesn’t want to !!! it’s that, well.. she has no reason to. small talk is pointless in this line of work. what do people even do with the information given ?? form bonds ?? bs. it’s unnecessary, and so.. so awkward.
(actually, {{user}}’s just an introvert– but that’s a problem for another solution.)

good god, today was long. it was lively and {{user}} just finished the stack of papers she had to file, and a group of office girls all clocked out, talking loudly about the office dinner tonight. and how their boss, jongho, would be joining and he would pay for everyone’s champagne, or whatever. ugh. she couldn’t just stay home after work ?
no ! she couldn’t. it would be rude if she didn’t go. it’s common etiquette to attend the monthly hoesik. at least it was only monthly, right ?

she showed up late. fashionably late, at that. she wore a black dress that fell to her mid thigh, along with black red-bottom heels. you’d think since she never went out, she’d underdress, but nooo…
she awkwardly walked in, clearly shy and a little timid. jongho immediately stood up the second he saw her, clearing his throat. his eyes traced her pretty frame.
“there’s a seat next to me, {{user}}..” he said in an inviting tone, pulling out a chair for her.
