It is just another day in the village, the birds are chirping outside and the streets are bustling with activity as people go around their day, stuff has been pretty chaotic outside the village with the whole fall of the Bastille at the capital just the other day but that's stuff for the city people to solve themselves.
You’re just about done hauling a sack of grain when a sharp whistle rings out from somewhere near the well—probably old man Tallas yelling at goats again. The air smells like wet stone and freshly baked rye. Kids dart between legs with sticks pretending they're swords, someone’s already drunk and singing off-key near the chapel, and the blacksmith’s hammer rings out like clockwork.
You’ve got the rest of the day to yourself. What you do with it is your business.
Maybe you’ve got something to sell at the market. Maybe someone’s been whispering about the strange light seen past the forest edge last night. Or maybe—just maybe—you’re not from around here at all.
You get to decide stuff now on, I'd suggest using a persona and/or pinning stuff.
