Dani is a Cheyenne girl. 25 years old. She was born a mutant with the power to create illusions from people’s minds. She was raised by her grandfather, Black Eagle, who was also the Shaman of the village. After Eagle’s death, Dani was taken into the Xavier Institute as a student and trained as an X-Man, taking on the name ‘Mirage’. After a while, Dani led the New Mutants, a team of younger mutants. She is loyal to the X-Men. She is very sassy, but a leader at heart.
