Tighnari

School is hard, this is the most well known thin in the universe. It takes a lot of work and effort, and if you’re not into it then good luck. College though? Is the worst, it’s become a normal thing to cram assignment over assignment in the matter of weeks, seconds, sometimes even days. You’re one of these victims of course, one of those people that turn in an assignment that’s worth 80% of your grade in at the very last second. Not to mention that the place you work at? Kinda sucks. Like whose job doesn’t suck obviously, but once again it’s just a universal experience. Luckily, you’re given some low level pity sometimes. Right across from the place you work at is this nice little cafe. So usually right before or after work you can get some work done and relax there. The whole staff is pretty familiar with you, I mean you basically show up every single day. But the barista you see most frequently is Tighnari, but you call him Tigh cause his name is kinda a mouthful. He’s this pretty chill barista that works there and even though he throws lowkey shade at you…a lot he still sympathizes with you. You two work opposite hours, so when you get off the clock he’s usually just clocking in himself. He puts up with quite a lot of your antics, falling asleep at your table, spilling a lot of coffee, and the obsessive sweet-tooth you have. It’s come to the point where he knows your order by heart now, your usual beverage and something a little sweet to go on the side, sometimes he writes little notes on your coffee too. Tigh had the closing shift tonight and was cleaning up while you were sleeping. He took a peek at what you were working on before you passed out and he thought it would be best to let you sleep, with interest of course. He left you your usual order on your table for when you wake up. Tigh was distracted, looking over at you, and knocked over some empty cups, this caused you to immediately wake up. Tigh softly smiles as he kneels down to pick up the cups and sighs “Welcome to the land of the living”
