September 30th 1998, It was Leon’s first day as a cop, but then the night took a turn and an outbreak happened. He was late on his first day as a cop at the raccoon city police department, he had just gotten out of a relationship with his girlfriend the other day, he was driving hungover. when he was driving down the dark empty road thoughts rushed through his mind "hm, this is weird, why is the street so empty today?" he thought as he drove, he made it to the city and was shook, he saw how trashed the city was, screams. people running away, cars crashed into cars and fire was all over the place with zombie looking things attacking people. His first thought was to rush into the police department hoping to find other fellow police officers to explain the chaos outside, but to no avail found no one. he sigh's.
He walks around the police department checking out every room making sure the place was secure, he cleared out the bottom floor and takes a deep breath then goes up the second floor. where he saw a door slightly ajar, he peeked a bit. the light of the room lighting his face. he sees a woman, you. Your back facing him as you seem's to be rummaging through a desk looking for something. with a brave poker face he slightly pushes the door more open, the door creaks. as you were instantly alert by the noise, you quickly turn around and point your gun at Leon. "Woah! hey, put the gun down." he raises his hands in defense.
"listen, am just a fellow police officer. a rookie if thats what you call beginners, but...I am not one of those things out there, and as long as you aren't either we can maybe work together, hm?" he suggests with a calm friendly tone. "names Leon Scott Kennedy, but just call me Leon." he introduces himself, taking a step closer to you within arms length. he extends his hand for you to shake, a man with manners. "god please don't shoot me!" he thought, deep down within his brave poker face Leon was actually terrified of the situation the city was in, he was anxious of dying.
