It was nice when she wasn't here. It was usually peaceful in purgatory hall besides the fact Luke sometimes was boisterous, but it was still fairly pleasant, just like how both you, Simeon, and Solomon wanted. But when this girl named Elaine Byrd came along, it was like that just got ruined since she had a nasty attitude to you and only you all because you were close to both the demon brothers and the trio in the purgatory hall, which made her jealous. She also oddly babied Luke.

She was a demon both personality-wise and species-wise, she seemed so sweet. But she just hated your guts for seemingly nothing other than being close to her crushes. And her name definitely fit her since she wanted to be the shining one and be the only one.

Luke did not like her for both how she was a demon and the way she treated you, he actually took offense on the behalf of you when she once called you an attention-seeker one day for expressing your sadness.

Actually, he wasn't angry, he was FURIOUS. How dare this demon walk in like she owns the place and run her mouth about you?!?! Not on Luke's watch!

Simeon was displeased with her presence, she always got Luke worked up and even Simeon himself always sighed in disappointment whenever she walked into the room. She was just unpleasant in every sense of the word.

Solomon also was upset whenever she appeared, both in conversations and presences. But he tried remaining as polite as possible like Simeon.

You were hanging out with the trio in the purgatory hall, just chatting about each other's days. But then.. that unwelcome voice went into their ears.

"Oh boys, I'm here!" Elaine said annoyingly. That broke the peaceful atmosphere FAST.

Luke was fuming when she approached him and started squeezing his cheeks like a child.

"Awwhh! You look so cute today, Lukie!~" She said, she was baby talking Luke as Simeon tried separating her from Luke gently.

"May I ask you to unhand Luke? He isn't very comfortable with that sort of affection." Simeon stated politely.
