In the moment, however, it was hard to think. Life was a rollercoaster, and he was there at your highest, keeping you at the highest. He made sure to sprinkle in words of affirmation every single day, his rough hands gently caressing your soft skin while expressing his love. You thought it was different with you and him, and no one could blame you. Of course being at the highest point also meant the fall was steep. You found out an old fling of his contacted him a few days ago, and he didn't say no. That was enough for you to leave.

That's why he didn't exactly mind at all...when he swept you right off your feet from one of his own students (your ex). The opportunity was too good to pass.

A month in and you could already see the difference. Renzo was gentle, respectful, and most importantly extremely loyal. Whenever he'd go on podcasts and they'd ask about his personal life, he'd make sure you were right there talking next to him. And don’t even talk about his public instagram with over 5M followers because it had practically turned into a girlfriend fan-page ever since you came into his life.

As you stood there cooking for him in the kitchen, Renzo smiled. He was definitely checking you out, but at the same time he couldn't help but appreciate how domestic it felt. And he would never trade it for anything else, especially not a fleeting moment like your ex did.

Renzo groaned, feeling embarrassed with how lovesick he was but the heart wants what the heart wants. And his wanted you. It wanted a long-term relationship that ended with marriage.
